…and you call yourself a fan?
π΅ Once Upon (Another) Dream, No Secrets π΅
This song came on at the end of the Sleeping Beauty VHS and I would rewind the tape over and over to listen to it (until I was firmly told I would wreck the tape, and had it confiscated). Anyone else remember this old gem? β Sha
π΅ Dig It, D-Tent Boys (Holes) π΅
Tbh, I don’t remember too much about this movie besides this song. I watched it like one time, but they would always play this music video in between shows and such. It definitely got me every time. β Mandy
π΅ Ever Ever After, Carrie Underwood π΅
Why does this movie not get more love? My questionable singing talents have belted this song out time and time again to the belief that love can happen in the most unexpected places. The best songs really will have you believing anything! β Sha
π΅ A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, DCCoS π΅
Raise your hand if you grew up on the Disney Channel! Nothing was better than the on-the-fly covers sung by the current cast of the DC. In this mix, which played often between your fave shows, even our beloved Dylan and Cole Sprouse harmonized for a few bars. β Sha
π΅ Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride, Lilo & Stitch π΅
I forgot how much I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee this song. It’s so chill, and I always forget the goodness that are the songs. Now I wanna go to Hawaii. β Mandy
π΅ I Thought I Lost You, Miley Cyrus & John Travolta π΅
I haven’t seen this movie in eons but this song always puts a warm feeling in my heart. Who doesn’t hope this is exactly what their little pupper would do if they got separated? β Sha
π΅ Make a Wish, Jordan Cahill (Stuck in the Suburbs) π΅
Yet another Disney Channel movie I enjoyed, but remember nothing except that it had good jams?? There was a lot of goodness, and lol, this music video. It’s now on Disney+, so a rewatch might be needed!! β Mandy
π΅ Why Should I Worry, Billy JoelΒ π΅
This is one of my fave shower songs (you know you’ve got them, too).Β Why should I worry? Why should I care? I may not have a dime, but I got street savoir-faire! βΒ Sha
π΅ Superstition, Raven-Symone π΅
I’ve always loved this song, and then when Raven did it??? SIGN ME UP. I loved The Haunted Mansion movie (you can see I loved spooky tales from early on). β Mandy
π΅ Cruella De Vil, Selena Gomez π΅
Yes, I did think I was a hardcore rocker singing along to this song when it came out on the Disney Channel back in the late 2000s. There was most definitely hair whipping and air guitar. β Sha
I loved Stuck in the Suburbs! This post made me feel so old π

Oliver and Company is such an underrated movie. Maybe it’s because of the premise but the music is SO delightful. Lol

I spotted it on Disney+ the other day, and I’m already planning a rewatch! It’s pretty old though, I didn’t realize it was from 1988?? Which explains, I guess, why it’s somewhat forgotten.

How could I forget the bop that is ” Dig it”? Wake up in the morning before the sun lol. My Disney heart absolutely loved this entire post!

I’ve personally never seen Holes! (That song was chosen by my co-blogger.) I just see dust, and desert, and I’ve never convinced myself to watch the movie. Glad you enjoyed the post!

Hawaiian Roller Coaster is a jam. Love that one! I had watched so many DCOMs with my daughter, when she was younger, and they all had great soundtracks.

Those soundtracks are perfect to inspire and honestly, just make you want to dance or belt along.

As a child I didnβt watch much Disney, though I did have Cinderella and I loved it a lot. βA Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makesβ is always dear in my heart π

Oohh, I hope you can find a way to watch some of these old classics!! I do have a bit of love hate with Disney+. It’s great to watch old Disney faves, but past that, there isn’t much content and it’s hard to convince myself it’s worth the price. Maybe just to have a few months, watch some films, and then unsubscribe? Glad you enjoyed!

Enchanted is such a great movie! I wish it had more love. After I made this post, I replayed all the songs from that soundtrack, haha.

Lilo and Stitch had some great music. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride is my second favorite song, though. He Mele No Lilo is my favorite but both are on my Ultimate Playlist on Spotify. I listen to both of them so often LOL. And Why Should I Worry is a gem. I wish more people talked about how absolutely bangin’ that one is. The others are a trip down memory lane. Love all these. Great post!

I totally overlooked He Mele No Lilo! I will be replaying it now. They both deserve to be on an ultimate playlist. Oh, yes, I agree with you about Why Should I Worry though. Thank you!

This post is dredging up alllll the memories! If I’m being completely honest, I’m pretty sure that Why Should I Worry has been in my head on loop for the past 15 years ππ Me and my siblings also rewatched the first two Lilo and Stitch movies this week so that song is fresh in my mind.
I absolutely do not remember Dig It, but I LOVED the movie Holes, so now I guess I just have to rewatch it.

Any time something bad comes up, you can bet I’m singing Why Should I Worry to myself (and still worrying, obviously, but that’s not the point). Haha. Ahhh, that must have been so fun!! I need to rewatch them, especially the second. It’s been so long, I don’t even remember the general concept to it! And now you have Holes to add to your watch list!!

OMFG!!! How could I forget these? (I did, tho, shame on me) The only one I haven’t totally forgotten is Selena’s, because I was such a big fan back then π Thanks for bringing back the nostalgia of my childhood! β€

OMG THE FLASHBACKS TO MY CHILDHOOD
I’ll be honest I was worried for a second, I thought I wouldn’t know any of these songs but I dooooooooo know most of them XD
Wow some of these videos are cringe-y lololol Especially the DCCoS omgggg I’m crying. But these are all jamssss
Stuck in the Suburbs was a guilty pleasure movie I loved to watch! And Enchanted is a brilliant movie it deserves more love!

DING DING DING we have a true Disney fan over here! I mean, I cringe, but also I love that back then people were so at ease being cringe. Now every second feels so scripted and overproduced on Disney.
Enchanted is amaaazing. Mandy and I are already plotting ways to bring it back to everyone’s eyes because it needs all the love.
