WHAT ARE THE ORIGINS OF YOUR BLOG?
Well, Book Princess Reviews started off a split second decision of me doubting myself completely while simultaneously saying, Screw it! A friend and I had really started getting in deep with reading book blogs and Goodreads, and I had always an affinity for writing. We started talking a lot about starting a booktube or book blog, but when she was sadly bogged down by too much work, I decided to set off and dive in because I clearly needed something in my life in between my fictional love interests.
Enter in a year ago when Sha pranced onto the book blog stage. She pitched me the concept of her bringing her epic wit, sass, and amazing writing and makeup skills into the fold, and I mean, how does one say no to that? The rest is history!
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR NEW BLOGGERS?
SHA says : My advice is to be honest in all things! No, you don’t have to drop the unvarnished truth (a little bit of good phrasing if you absolutely dislike a book is only proper manners and you don’t HAVE to tag all your book BFFs, and the pub house AND the author when you have an unsavoury opinion) but be true to what you believe even if it goes against popular thought. If you start lying to yourself, not only will blogging become a total chore but your readers won’t be able to connect with you. I mean, they won’t even know who YOU are! Blog about what YOU like, say why YOU like it, and then no matter the size of your follower base, you’ll know they’re are there for (get ready for this one) YOU!
MANDY says : Interact! For the longest time, I was so intimidated to reach out to my fellow bloggers, but it was the best thing I ever did. You form great friendships, everyone is super welcoming because we’re all here to fangirl/fanboy, and it is one of the fastest ways to get your name out there for success. And I totally agree with Sha – be you! You’re going to burn yourself out so much and be disenchanted with your blog if you’re doing stuff that you think will make other people happy or cater to the masses. You have to be happy with yourself and what you’re putting out, and the joy will continue…until you completely burn yourself out – which is totally okay.
AND THE NEXT NOMINATION GOES TO…
We are nominating all the bloggers who successfully completed #Blogmas18.

Great story and advice! I totally agree with you on that. Best way to enjoy blogging is be you and put your thoughts properly and fangirl with fellow bloggers.
