✨ Blog Event: JanuARCary ✨

From January 1st to January 31st 2019, Book Princess Reviews will be celebrating 8 different YA and MG book releases with a special event: JanuARCary!

On MONDAYS and THURSDAYS we will release ARC reviews for each of the books.

On WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS we will release a special post celebrating the two books we reviewed that week. The special post might be a character study, book cover comparisons, teasers, and more. Details coming in soon!

Mandy and I are hosting this event for two reasons. First, we are SUPER excited about these upcoming releases and want to share the love! I mean, remember our love for Grave Mercy? And now Courting Darkness is coming out??? And who doesn’t know Mandy is a live and die fan for Megan Miranda??

Second, we were soooo lucky to receive many ARCs this month and wanted to do them justice by not just bulk reviewing them. We wanted to *celebrate* them! Kick off 2019 by basking in the glory that is the YA and MG fiction we oh so adore.

  1. Slayer and Goodbye, Perfect. Like. I read the Paranormalcy trilogy by Kiersten White in 2018 and it was a bit of a.. failure? But I cannot resist something that has to do with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That series was like my ENTIRE CHILDHOOD – thank mom.
As for Goodbye, Perfect.. I already have a copy since it’s already been released in the UK for ages? I don’t get why it’s suddenly so big again and being released in the US that much later? What’s going on? :’)

    1. Slayer is up and Goodbye, Perfect is coming soon! I agree on the Paranormalcy trilogy. I had to stop at book one because it just really wasn’t working for me. But Kiersten did sooo much better with SLAYER.

As for Goodbye, Perfect, idk, sometimes the US is just slow on good things! Thankfully it’s coming now! (And I love the new cover!)

      1. That’s good to know! It’s amazing to see authors grow in any case!

Haha, but this is.. like.. reaaaally slow though. And that’s true. I’m honestly.. glad I already have a copy since I’d probably be torn on what cover to get otherwise? :’)

      2. Agreed! Author growth is the best.

I can’t even comment on this one, haha. Goodbye, Perfect initially released a year ago, right? Maybe the author wasn’t looking to distribute to the US right away. *shrugs* Oh, nope, I’m definitely pro-US cover on this one. I love the colour scheme.
