FIRST IMPRESSION FRIDAY is a meme started by J.W. Martin at Storeys of Storeys. Take a sample of a book you have just started (a chapter or two, maybe a little more), give a few impressions, and predict what you’ll think by the end.

Out of the Easy is the story of seventeen-year-old Josie Moraine. Her mother works in a brother and Josie has long ago learned to cope on her own. Now that Josie has her heart set on getting out of New Orleans and heading to college, a suspicious murder threatens to keep her captive in a world she finally has a chance to escape.
I sped through five chapters before I allowed myself a break to write this up. This book is definitely four crowns or higher. I’m addicted to the writing style (not surprising coming from Sepetys) and the entire world oozes sketchy underworld and seedy but complex characters.
