Disney Princess Hair Tag

I am so super excited today to bring to you a collab between me and the brilliant mastermind, Kyera from Kyera’s Library. Not only is she a fantasy wizard and a mythology guru – she’s an amazing blogger and reviewer. She is a blogger I know I can fangirl with – usually over the same books but most especially our shared love of princesses. So when she came to me with an absolute GENIUS idea for a tag, I, of course, said sign me up stat!!! A huge thanks to the wonderful Kyera for doing so much brilliance with the banners, the concepts, and so many of the prompts. She kicked some princess butt, and I can’t wait for everyone to see this princess tag! Shall we dive in??

The Rules:

  • Link back to Kyera’s original post on Kyera‘s Library and Mandy’s post on Book Princess Reviews so we can see all your answers! (Be sure to do this via pingback, we don’t get notified if you just tag our URLs)
  • Thank the person(s) who tagged you… show the community some love!
  • Obviously, come up with your own wonderful answers!
  • Don’t forget to tag others to keep the tag going!

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Accessory

Princess: Aurora’s crown. Idk why, but it calls me.

Book: Dan the man from The Summer I Became a Nerd! His little hyper grumpy self calls to me dearly.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Change

Princess: Anna. Streaks are cool…except when they’re showing you’re dying.

Book: Warcross! I honestly don’t know how, but I didn’t see it coming??? It got me good, and I was not prepared.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Bun.png

Princess: Tianaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. So much goals for that bun. Why does my bun do weird bumpy things???

Book: Oh gosh. Books with super pretty prose usually is not my jam. However, Bardugo usually kills it with her prose. Language of Thorns was particularly pretty.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Bounce 2.png

Princess: Ariel. Ariel for days. Like, I feel like Ariel’s Bounce was its own character in that movie, and it was still cooler than me.

Book: Cold Summer by Gwen Cole was the first that came to mind. It was in present day and WWII, and it really would bounce since it would depend on when the MC was sucked into a different time. (Also, ignore Elsa in the picture. She just trying to steal Anna’s show again…I mean, Ariel.)

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Braid

Princess: Rapunzel. I’m obsessed with her braid when she is spinning in that sun circle with the flowers. Like, that hair is my life. I live by that braid. That braid is me…this is turning weird. I bet Kyera is reading this going, why did I ask her to be a part of this again?

Book: Well, any of The Lunar Chronicles books definitely managed to weave things together brilliantly. But Echoes was a recent one that I read effortlessly. It felt like there were two different storylines going on, but they wove together pretty easily once you figured it out!

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Short.png

Princess: Mulan! I loved her short hair. It was blunt and choppy and everything cool. Although Snow’s did more of that when I cut it short. But shhhhhhh.

Book: Romeo and What’s Her Name! It’s short and fluffy and sweet!

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Half

Princess: Belle. She was rocking the half up and half down before it because intense last year in hair fads. Not that I know hair fads. Or even if this was even a thing last year. But I feel like it was.

Book: Lol the entire ACOTAR series??? Can we count that as just one giant book. So many highs and lows and ups and downs.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Medium.png

Princess: Moana!

Book: I both loved and disliked certain parts of the Keeper of the Bees so I kind of just totally fell in the middle.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Bangs.png

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Long.png

Princess: Pocahontas. This is hard one because I just love my Rapunzel, but Pocahontas has always been my favorite for hair goals and I just see her hair blowing in the breeze right now as we speak.

Book: Maybe Rebecca? I haven’t read too many long books this year. To tell the truth, I’ve actively been looking for shorter books, lol. It’s all about getting in and out like I’m breaking into the book house!

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Pony.png

Princess: Jasmine. Omg, if only I could have all day every day, my life would be complete.

Book: The Date to Save! This is a weird one since it’s like an oral history, but it does jump from a character to character to get their perspective on a particular moment.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Straight.png

Princess: Pocahontas againnnnnnnnnnn.

Book: I’ll just be over here waiting for Wildcard again.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Curls.png

Princess: I felt like Aurora’s curls were always like those roses I drew as a kid. Like they were the swirly ones that were simple to make, and I see it in her hair.

Book: Everyone We’ve Been certainly tripped me up in parts. There were a few twist and turns for sure.

Disney Hair Tag Prompts - Close

Princess: I was talking with Kyera about this intensely, and I feel like no Princess has fully captured my hair at all. I think it’s like a mix of Belle and Moana with a touch of Snow White?????

Book: Letting Go of Gravity! I feel like I finally found the me in YA. I felt like it had a character that got my thoughts and anxiety and everything.

Tag…you’re it!

  1. This is such a cute tag idea! I’m a curly haired girl and I love how people always tell me my hair matches my personality. I think you did a great job matching questions to hairstyles! I especially loved how “Best Pony” matched with “Book that Swung from POV to POV.” It made me laugh.

  2. First, agh! The graphics are all broken links on my screen. Is it like that for you as well? Second, the commentary gets me every time. I like how you laid yours out. I think mine ended up being a little unwieldy. Third, we did not discuss the Snow part. How is Snow like your hair, a little, now I’m curious. Fourth, can I be a pain and say that poor Mulan didn’t even have her short hair in that picture? But she’s perfect and preicous and I don’t even care. (Okay maybe a little.)

    1. Oh no!! I don’t think it did it for mine? I ended up copying mine in? I don’t know if that did it?

And lol thank you! XD I am about to go check yours out. I’ve been meaning to for a week straight. D:

And yes! I threw that in there as I was thinking about it. Like everyone assumes my hair is darker like hers and then it does the bumpy ruffle thing her does when it’s short. XD

And YES. I was like, I should switch the picture…but I was feeling lazy to switch it. XD

  4. Haha okay it took me a while to understand how this tag worked (I’m slow), but it makes sense now. I also am the biggest fan of Pocahontas’ hair (one of many things I loved about her), and lol yeah, Ariel’s bounce was epic; it’s the movie itself. 😂

Terrific tag! This is a really fun idea for a post and I enjoyed reading all your answers!
