Bookish M.A.S.H. Tag

bookish mash tag

When I was tagged by the absolutely wonderful Kyera @ Kyera’s Library. She is the creator of this epic tag, and I’m obsessed and you should be obsessed because it brings back the most wonderful thing from my childhood that would entertain me for hours on end. I always did my mashes with book characters since real life brought few prospects and me and my friends were too busy being excited by the adorable book boyfriends. Kyera has a wonderful blog filled with just so many amazing things – reviews, tags (she created another one that was epic too), series, and so much more. IF YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWING HER, I’MMA BE A BLOG PUSHER AND SAY GO DO IT. AND THEN GO DO THIS TAG???

THE RULES:

  • Link back to my original post on Kyera’s Library so I can see all your answers! (Be sure to do this via pingback, I don’t get notified if you just tag my URL)
  • Thank the person(s) who tagged you… show the community some love!
  • Obviously, come up with your wonderful answers!
  • Don’t forget to tag others to keep the tag going!
  • What you have left is your YA story! Go to this website which explains how to play with some pictures if you don’t know how to play MASH.

Genre

genre

I am living in a thriller. Um, this does sound good. SOMEONE WANTS TO KILL MANDY. MANDY IS GOING TO DIE. UNLESS SHE BECOMES A WANNABE SHERLOCK WITH HER SIDEKICK PET…

Pet

pet

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, FESTUS. Festus – the machine dragon thing – will use his fire breath thing to blast all the murdering people from killing Mandy.

Job

job

No wonder people want to murder Mandy. SHE MURDERS PEOPLE, TOO?????

Love Interest

love interest

Well, being with Percy certainly is thrilling, and he does have a big sword that can help a girl out. I’ll take it – although I was looking hard at that first one.

Setting

setting

I feel like The Night Court is a bit of an odd setting for a thriller with the giant machine thing Festus with gentle, innocent Percy Jackson. o.o I’m concerned, but IT IS SO PRETTY SO I DON’T CARE.

Transportation

transport

…or we could just use, Festus? Book Mandy is an idiot.

Best Friend

best friend

Okay, if you’re confused who random Dan is, he’s from The Summer I Became a Nerd, and he’s one of my favorite side character. He’s like this little angry curser man, and I love him dearly. Since he is the lovable doofus, good news is that he will provide comic relief and almost totally be murdered first.

Power

power

Only right since this is a thriller. But I don’t think there are any computers in the Night Court so it’s pretty useless power?

Villain

villain

Well, I mean, I guess we’re in ACOTAR world, so she can just come from the evil dead?

Trope or Twist

trope or twist

Well, I am special, so let’s just go with it??? XD

I also live in a mansion, so I probably stole it from Rhysand…shhhhhhhh.

Tag…you’re it (maybe????)!
Annalee @ Button Book Reviews / Journey Into Books / Kate @ Melting Pots and Other Calamities / Sophie @ Blame Chocolate (if you ever can XD) / Crystal @ Paper Royalty / Angelica @ Dreaming of Fiction

And anyone else who wants to! Also, I’m working on my tags, so if you like being tagged, please let me know because I totally have forgotten who likes being tagged and want to tag some new people that aren’t like, ugh, Mandy, not you again. D:

What do you think? What are some of your choices for MASH? Did you also love it as a kid? Let’s discuss in the comments below!

  1. Thanks for tagging me!!! Your story is so funny!!! I hope that mine doesn’t get that messy or dangerous. Maybe I won’t put thriller as my genre. Or maybe I will. Who knows?

  2. I used to do M.A.S.H. with book characters as my potential love interests when I was younger, so I find this tag so cool. Also, I don’t mind being tagged. I just don’t have a ton of time for blogging right now.

      1. School is interesting. I’m pretty sure I failed my first midterm of the semester, but I don’t know because the marks were supposed to be up by the 16th and they aren’t up yet. This semester is also a lot heavier than last semester.

      2. Oh no! Maybe the teacher is making up a curve? I always found that one of the semesters proved to be harder no matter what. Hopefully it will lighten up soon 😦 But super wishing you luck with that midterm and that it works out better than first thought???

  4. Oh Mandy! This was so much fun to read through! I think you got some pretty good results! I would 100% read a YA book based off this starring my special girl, Mandy!

I recently did my own MASH and I can’t wait to share it with you! (Although I didn’t get the greatest results…you’ll see!)
