Wonder Woman Book Tag

wonder woman book tag

Wonder Womannnnnnnnnnnnnn. It’s been quite some time since I saw the movie, and again quite some time since I read the book by Leigh Bardugo, but after finishing Batman, I’m kind of in a superhero mood. So, when I was clicking through my tags and spotted this one, I knew I had to do it. Thanks so much to Alaina @ Infinite Book World for tagging me…well, FOREVER ago. D: I failed so much, but her blog does not fail. In fact, it always has some kind of greatness on it. Check out her original post here, and the rest of her blog while you are at it!

Wonder Woman: Your favorite badass female book character…

Any of the ladies from Furyborn, The Lunar Chronicles, or Six of Crows. Seriously, take your pick, and you’re going to get a badass lady that can kick some major butt.

Fantasy Island: A book setting you want to escape to…

Hmmmm…this is always so hard, because a lot of the series that I love always have super sketchy settings that are rife with war, world ending issues, and other drama. Maybe Camp Half-Blood when it’s chill.

London: A hyped book that let you down…

*cough, Wonder Woman, cough, cough* SO MUCH OOPS.

Steve Trevor: A book that has a beautiful cover and a great story (i.e. good personality)…

Eliza and Her Monsters! I totally bought it because I was obsessed with the cover, and the story inside was quite beautiful, too.

Lasso of Truth: A book you hated…

22429851_131788647477566_8500493315400007680_n(1)

There’s Someone Inside Your House. SO SO many issues with this book.

Wonder Woman’s Shield: A book so sad that you need a shield…

I haven’t had anything quite sad in a long time. Maybe because I actively avoid sad books???

Ares: a villain that is scary, but you can’t seem to hate them…

shadow and bone

The Darkling is kind of scary, but I mean, you really can’t hate the man although he has some struggles.

The Amazons: A book that you wish had more/better LGBT+ representation…

A Court of Wings and Ruin‘s LGBT+ representation felt a little way out of nowhere for me. I mean, seriously, it seemed like it just flew right in there without any background for it. Wasn’t quite sure what to do with that. I’m always always always glad for more representation, always, but this just seemed…I’m not quite sure. But can all books just have more??

Justice League: What superhero book friends do you tag…

Oops. I’m now realizing I forgot to tag anyone here so if you want to unleash your inner Wonder Woman please feel free to tag yourself!

What do you think? What are some of your answers for this? Let’s discuss in the comments below!

  1. Ah I LOVE superheroes. I still need to read Wonder Woman and Batman. And your post reminded me about Eliza and Her Monsters! I heard SUCH amazing things about it this summer, I really need to get it.
I think Camp Half Blood when its chill would be a pretty good place to escape to. All the food always being your favorite food, the whole fun capture the flag bit, some wise centaur.

    1. Superheroes are great! And yes! I’m super eager to see what you think of them. They were a bit hit or miss with me, but Eliza was brillianttttttttttttttt. Yes, yes, yes, that would be the perfect place indeed. 😉 Let’s just hope no attacks happen.

I may have to do this book tag!

I got Furyborn on Netgalley and can’t wait to read it!

      1. Yes!! I’m so excited about it! I love Scarlet and Wolf so far even though I’m not far into Scarlet! I’ve just been getting to know the characters through Wires and Nerve which has made me want to keep reading the series!

  3. It’s so ironic that Wonder Woman let you down xD I still need to read Eliza & Her Monsters, plus I’ve read so many glowing reviews. I haven’t read There’s Someone Inside Your House either—I’d been looking forward to it for a super long time—but it’s sad seeing all the mixed feedback. Never fun to have a hyped book let you down. ):

(also, omg I’ve always wanted to be a demigod at Camp Half Blood, and I still kinda do??)

    1. Lol, I found it so hilarious. Like, who gets let down by Wonder Woman in the Wonder Woman tag? Eliza was a super win for me, and I think you would really enjoy it. 😀 And yeah, that one was a bit of struggle for sure. AND YES. I WANT TO BE ONE TOO EVEN THOUGH I CANNOT EVEN PASS FOR A KID NOW. D:
