#ARCstravaganza is hosted by the wonderful ladies of YA and Wine and The Clever Reader– Krysti and Sarah respectively – where each week, we showcase one of the best perks of being a book blogger – those glorious ARCs – on our blogs, Instagrams, or both! And when you participate? You’ll be entered to win a YA ARC each month! How cool is that? Find out more about it here!
I present this week’s feature ARC without further ado…
All The Ways The World Can End by Abby Sher
Lenny (short for Eleanor) feels like the world is about to end. Her best friend is moving to New York City to attend Julliard and her dad has terminal cancer. To cope with her stress Lenny is making a list of all the ways the world can end—designer pathogens, blood moon prophecies, alien invasion—and stockpiling supplies in a bunker in the backyard. Then she starts to develop feelings for her dad’s very nice young doctor—and she thinks he may have feelings for her too. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t. But a more age-appropriate love interest might. In a time of complete uncertainty, one thing’s for sure: Lenny’s about to see how everything is ending and beginning. All at the same time.
I won this in a Goodreads giveaway, and it was one of those books that I had added to my TBR while I was down the TBR rabbit hole. I was just adding 2017 books left and right because they were recommending it to me left and right and somehow this book added on my TBR without me really realizing it. However, it sounded pretty cool and interesting- and I mean, there is the world alien in it.
The end result is a still a bit unclear, but I mean, I just had to showcase that cover. It’s SO COOL. I just stare at it a lot. And I mean, like, a lot. And that blue is literally the perfect blue to help complete a necessary book rainbow. So, I mean, yay?
Also, fun fact: the real cover on Goodreads has a head in the final cover. I have no head on the ARC. And that just makes it feel so much cooler – and so Sleepy Hollow. XD And now I’m a bit concerned here about myself.
You can find out more about it here.
Adding books to my TBR left, right and centre is a talent of mine. 🙂 I have it mastered.

I love the cover with no head!

Yes! The head just looked weird with the new cover. Super cool, though. 😀

This cover is awesome! I definitely would’ve clicked that Enter Giveaway button on Goodreads just based on that. I love that there isn’t a head because I’m sure it’d feel scattered given the topics found in the synopsis. Great pick for this weeks #ARCstravaganza!

It is! I think that was definitely a factor in picking. XD But yes! I thought it made more sense that way and confused when the head went in. And thanks so much, Sarah! 🙂

Oooh, that’s a beautiful ARC! Congrats on your Goodreads win! It’s so hard to win on those, because of all the entries! So happy you picked this one though. Also, I LOVE it when the ARC covers are different than the finished covers. They feel more special to me that way for some reason.

Thanks so much! The cover is so cool. And I definitely agree! When you do see just how many entries were in there, it’s crazy. And yessssssss, it really does feel super special! 😀

I know! The cover tricked me a bit. 😦 But at least there is some shelf candy?

That’s true. Plus it was free! So there is that. 🙂

I’ve actually been able to cut back on ARC’s and concentrating on reading more of what I already have than actual newer releases. That cover is gorgeous though.

Ooooh, I’m trying to do that, too, Ashley. The TBR gets way too out of hand when looking at all the new things. Super cool you are having luck with it! But it is! 😀
