Um, I meant to come here about a few weeks ago and thank you for 500 followers…but I kind of missed the mark on that. So I promised, Mandy, you will do something epic for 600 followers…you will have loads of time to plan because surely it won’t hit for a while. o.o Um, what just happened, gals and guys?
First off, I want to thank you from the bottom of my book heart, because there honestly was NO way that I expected any of this. I came here, thinking maybe 2 or 3 people would find this book and be on their way. Nowhere did I ever think I would somehow amass 600 followers and be a part of this amazing, lovely community. Everyone here is amazing, and I thank each and every one of you.
Blog hugs for everyone?
Now, since I didn’t get my act together in time, I just wanted to let you know that I am planning a little something, something. Hopefully it will be up sometime next week with the details.
But seriously, thank you so much again, and even though I don’t cry for books, this might have gotten me to tear up a tiny bit (seriously, I was bone dry with The Fault in Our Stars). So major feat. Thank you thank you thank you! ❤
I was tagged for this tag over by the always lovely Nadwa @ Painfully Fictional. Have you checked out her blog yet? Because it’s amazing, and she’s amazing, and everything is amazing. Check it out her own tag here, and thanks so much again, Nadwa! But seriously, make sure you go check out her blog.
Um, I thought this tag was so ridiculously perfect for this post, and it’s so ridiculously easy, so I mean, I’m so excited for this today. 😀 No rules – just list the things that make you happy! 😀
LIST FIVE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY
Well, of course, this is the top thing on the list. How can this be a book blog without me being excited about them. I’ve always loved books, but it hasn’t been until I really started this book blog that I realized just how much happiness they truly bring me. I get so ridiculously excited for book mail that it’s like Fierce Fangirl Friday every day here.
The Disney Princesses
Um, I don’t think we need to stay too long on this one, because I mean, I think it’s pretty obvious? 😉
The Princess Bride
This movie never fails to make me laugh or smile when I watch it. It’s absurdly amazing, and I’m addicted to the cult classic. I was going to add in a favorite quote in here, but literally this movie is just one big quote so that didn’t work.
Friends and Family
I totally stole this answer, Nadwa, because it’s so true. I love them dearly, and almost all of them understand the book struggle. They’re so supportive, and they have each listened to my fangirling with so much grace. And besides, I fangirl over each thing with a different. You can blame my dad for the Bigfoot and Disney obsession; my friend for getting me into the book blogging world; and more. XD
Um, next topic, please. 😉
LIST FIVE SONGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY
I’m just going to do my top 5 that would make me happy if they popped up on the radio right this very second:
Zuky @ Book Bum (I swear you haven’t done this, right? D:) / Darque @ Darque Dreamer Reads / Rendz @ Reading With Rendz / Jannin @ The Book Nerd Dragon / Kyera @ Kyera’s Library / Moira @ For The Lover of Books (click the link to see her cool new tag, too) / Quina @ A Pretty Story / Eva @ Brilliantly Bookish / Emma @ A Dreamer’s Library /
It’s been a while since I tagged anyone so I totally pulling a blank on who I usually do or who I know wants to, but please feel free to do it since it’s a lot of fun! 😀
Thanks so much again, everyone! ❤ All the support has been so kind and lovely, and the book blogging community is the best. So, what do you think? What makes you happy? What five songs are making you super happy right now? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
Also, I am participating in a lovely blogging meme – event – thing, called Big Blogger, Little Blogger. It’s super cool and being put on by A Well-Thumbed Reader. My blogging partner is A Dance Between Pages, and if you haven’t check out their blog yet, you totally should! There is a super good mix of reviews from adult to YA (they definitely convinced me to check out a few new books while also crossing off a few on my list). Check out these ladies’ blog here, and also check them out on Goodreads!
