That’s right – my first ever book haul post! Are we excited? Well, I’m not, because in doing this post, I now realize I am in over my head in books. Dear gosh, me, what have I done? I at least got some epic preorder swag, deals, and used up giftcards for them? Yay?

Frogkisser! by Garth Nix

I stumbled upon this book during one of my massive Goodreads binges, and it literally looks SO CUTE. I CAN’T HANDLE THE CUTENESS OF THE COVER AND THE FEW PAGES I READ. I literally can’t wait for this, and it gives me such Princess Bride feels…which made have totally lead to the bottom purchase. XD

A Thousand Nights by E.K. Johnston

I discovered this book series had the most insanely pretty actual book covers under the dust jacket, and Mandy was all about that. Oh, and it does sound like a pretty epic Arabian Nights retelling.

The Princess Bride: Illustrated Edition by William Goldstein

Umm…I don’t think I have to explain this one other than: ILLUSTRATED PRINCESS BRIDE.

First We Were IV by Alexandra Sirowy

Somehow, the book publishing gods (aka a very lovely agent over at Simon & Schuster) heard my pleas on how much I wanted Sirowy’s new novel and granted my wish. Sirowy has become one of my favorite writers since The Telling, and I literally cannot wait for this book. AND IT’S SO PRETTY. DO YOU SEE THE EPIC PURPLE??

Love and First Sight by Josh Sundquist

I won this during a blog tour, and it looks super cute and fluff! And I will totallllllllly admit it that I joined the giveaway because the cover is so pleasing. AND IT’S ALL SHINY AND SMOOTH. But I mean, it sounds cute. o.o

The Winner’s Kiss and Crime by Marie Rutkoski

I read this series foreverrrrrr ago, but I totally couldn’t remember anything and never picked up the second book. But I’ve seen so many book bloggers love it, and Rendz over at @ Reading With Rendz gave it such a huge praise that I just had to pick it up. If only I got that third one -_-

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

I bought this for the Netflix show, but in the past few days, I’ve seen a lot of stuff that has me rethinking this a lot. I never realized some of the problems behind it and especially the show since I somehow knew nothing about it for the past few years, and I’ll definitely be putting this majorly on hold.

Pivot Point by Kasie West

This has been one of my favorite books for years, but I’ve only ever had the digital copy (which I always forget about). It’s so different than her contemporaries, but it SO GOOD.

Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan

Another book blogger rec, and it has fairytale feels. Plus, the flowers on are so pretty. This March book haul was literally categorized by me judging every book by their cover.

The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine

Pretty cover, lots of blogger recs, and a Snow White retelling. SIGN ME UP.

Newt’s Emerald by Garth Nix

That’s right – those few pages of Frogkisser! were so good that I went and bought another one of his books. XD It sounds adorable, though, and sort of Oscar Wilde-ish.

I loved her book, Out of Easy, and so many bloggers have loved this one as well. I thought I would give it a try.
