Mystery Blogger Part II/ 100 Followers

I don’t know what to do with this guys and gals. Not only was I honored by two lovely bloggers for the Mystery Blogger Award (yes, the mysterious award that I was super confused on beforehand), but last week, I hit 100 followers on the day of my 100th post. Ironic, yes, amazing, super yes.

And somehow in the past few days, I’m somehow managed to get to 120+. Mind = blown.

I cannot thank everyone enough for all the support and kindness that they have shared with me over the past few months, and trust me, I had no clue I would ever get here. It’s not without all of your help that I would be here, so thank you very much! ❤

Since I’m on the topic of thanking, I would like to think Nadwa from Painfully Fictional and Miss Abigail for nominating me for the Mystery Blogger Award. Yes, it is a bit of a deja vu, since I have done it before, but they were so kind to nominate me again that I had to take this chance to talk up their wonderful blogs. Both of them have absolutely amazing graphics, even more amazing thoughts on YA and other books, and more! Check out Nadwa’s here and Miss Abigail’s here.

If you would like a rehash on the rules, here is the link to my last one, since I just wanted to answer their great questions and maybe do a few more nominations?

Here are Nadwa’s questions:

If you were to live in any fictional world, which one would you choose?

I’m not a big fan of danger, so that pretty much takes out most of YA Fantasy worlds. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Six of Crows and The Lunar Chronicles worlds, but I’m not sure I would choose to live there. XD So, probably something contemporary.

If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be?

Carswell Thorne. ❤ (I think you would agree Nadwa and Rendz? XD) That man is a dreamboat, and I highly doubt that I would ever be bored sitting and talking with him.

Here’s an overrated, cliché question: What book would you bring if you were stranded on an island?

If I couldn’t pick something to help me survive, ’cause I mean, practical but supremely boring, probably Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers or My Unfair Godmother by Janette Rallison, just because they give me such feels and have great plots that I never get tired of. Mostly the feels, though, and if I were stranded on a desert island, I would probably need some.

A book that you didn’t expect would make you cry?

Awh, shucks. I don’t really cry in books. It takes a lotttttt for a book to get me to cry. The question would be, what book actually made you cry. Ummmmm…Life Unaware by Cole Gibsen gave me a lot more feels than I ever thought it would and it did make me feel for a second that I might get somewhat emotional.

Random: One sort of food you wouldn’t mind eating for the rest of your life?

Chicken strips. Hasn’t failed me for the past six years, so I don’t think I would mind if I kept going. XD

Now, onto Miss Abigail’s questions!

What’s one thing, that authors do, that you can’t stand?

Love triangles. Why can’t we just have one feels for one person and then stick with that person? I get so angry at authors for not knowing how to pick and ship for, and if they keep messing with me for more than a few books, they will get a very strongly worded emoticon. 😉

Where is your favorite place to read?

I’m good reading just about anywhere, but my spot on the couch is my prime reading spot.

What is your reading beverage/snack of choice?

I actually don’t really read and snack or drink and snack because I’m hyper paranoid I would spill or get something on the pages and then that would just bug me so much, knowing that I had messed up the clean pages. XD

What do you read most, ebooks, audiobooks, paperbacks, hardbacks… or some other form of book that I’ve missed?!

Paperbacks, probably. They’re the cheapest form, and I tend to like the actual physical copy, so hardcovers would definitely be my second. I have yet to read an audiobook (I feel like I would get super distracted…and I mean, I can’t really read it XD), and I have been starting to read a lot more ebooks, so they’re growing on me.

Random question: Do you wear socks while you sleep, or do you go barefoot?

…barefoot even though I always complain about cold feet. XD

Okay, since I did nominate quite a few people for it last time, I’ll just do a few more for this one, since who doesn’t love book awards? XD

TeacherofYa/ Sophie from BlameChocolate / Thebooknerd / MiRakelBooks / Books ‘N’ Reviews Oh My

(P.S. I did nominate some people before that never did claim it their award, so…just saying. 😉 and if you were nominated before, I checked as well!)

  1. I can relate about not eating snack with books around to avoid spilling anything on the book, a little. I eat snack even when I read though I keep it as far away from the book as possible. Or I eat it real fast first before devouring my current read. 😀

Thank you so much for nominating me! 😀

    1. Yes, same! Sometimes when I get books from the library, there are the unidentified stains in there, and I’m like, nope, that is never going to happen with my books so no food. XD But I will definitely have to try eating it all before as you do.
You’re very welcome as well! 🙂

  2. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 100 FOLLOWERS!! 😍🎉 I hit a 100 followers too last week, and a 100 posts last night 😂 And yess!! Thorne is like literally the answer to every single question on fictional characters out there: charming? check. Funny? check. Handsome? check. This is such an unhealthy obsession we’re having, and I don’t even care! 😂💘

    1. Lol, 100 seems to be the lucky number that follows each other around. Congrats to you as well, Nadwa!! 😀 😀
Lol, he isssssssss. Every time I think I find another epic character, I check them against Thorne, and they still do not match up. Literally every second of reading Wires And Nerve will be me squealing for him to appear. XD

  3. Congratulations on 100+ followers! You’ll get 200 in no time, I’m sure ^^
I wasn’t too keen on ebooks either until I started reading them more and now I’m hooked! They’re so convenient.
Thorne would be such amazing company! I would love to meet him in real life as well hahaha
Thank you so much for the nomination! I was nominated once already but haven’t made a post about it yet. I’m planning on doing it soon, though!

    1. Awh, thanks so much, Sophie! 🙂
I do agree about convenient. There is nothing like taking out your phone while waiting for something and just binge reading a couple of chapters. I think I’m slowly getting more excited about them, but I’m glad to know I might be able to get hooked on them like you. 😀
Lol, yes! He’s such a dreamboat and I can’t wait to see what Wires and Nerve brings for him. 😀
And ahhhhh gotcha! I made sure to look around for it on yours, and that explains why I couldn’t find it. Congrats on your other nomination, and I can’t wait to see your post! 🙂

      1. Yeah, sorry about that… I’m a very bad blogger! I have quite a few nominations from months ago and never got to them. But I’m definitely on top of that now! No more fooling around hahaha
I hope you warm up to ebooks. They’re really not that bad! And it doesn’t mean you still won’t love your paperbacks and hardbacks. They’re all amazing in their own way ^^
Oh yeah, Wires and Nerve is coming out this month isn’t it? I can’t wait to read it!! I love that crew so much ❤ *cries happily*

So very true. I’m definitely getting there…well, Netgalley definitely made me get there. XD But I’m definitely going to take your advice and try out more of them.
Yessssssssss. Next week it will finally be here!! I’m so excited that I can’t handle it. I just want my hands on it and hug it. XD

    1. I’m putting all my hopes and dreams into at least one appearance of him in Wires and Nerve. I need my little dreamboat. ❤ And thank you so much, Rendz!! ❤ I'm so happy as well, and I totally think the same of your blog!! Computer hug time?? XD Thanks so much again, Rendz – I appreciate it so much! (I also need to calm down on my exclamation marks use after this comment is finished D:)

      1. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. SO true. I was on Barnes and Nobles’ blog today and they’re like, here’s a preview of it, and I’m like, no, I must be like Rendz and not look at anything until I have it in my hands and can devour it all. My heart will probably not be able to handle this. XD *sending those hugs right back to you too <3*
